Example of current work projects 2013-current:


Prior to our development solution this customer was using written manuals, 2D reference drawings, and power point presentations for their training. This application has been a major improvement in training efficiency and understanding for a multitude of companies and industries.

To help create comprehensive training scenarios I have:
  • modeled, textured, rigged, and animated well over 200 tools from image, video, and CAD models provided by clients (99% of these models are confidential and proprietary)
  • designed/built over 130 lessons in Unity using an in-house framework
  • translated hundreds of pages of mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and operating instructions 
  • vetted all lessons text to ensure understanding - for many users, English is not their first or main language 
  • lead junior artists
  • controlled quality and integrity

To rig an animate models I use the following tools:
  • hierarchy parenting
  • helpers
  • bones
  • wire parameters
  • UI sliders
  • constraints
  • controllers
  • morphs/blend shapes
  • the curve editor & dope sheet.

I modeled, textured, rigged and animated the clamps in the following clip. I setup the rig so that only the handle needs to be rotated to fully animate the entire clamp.
